Shootout at Wadala is a hyper-dramatized and stylized cinematic version of what is essentially a journalistic account (taken from S Hussain Zaidi’s book Dongri to Dubai) of the rise and fall of a Mumbai mafia don in the 1970s and 1980s. Cast: John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Siddhant Kapoor Director: Sanjay Gupta                      Another thriller about cops and goons set in the Mumbai underworld? Yes, pretty much so. But Shootout at Wadala is more than just a series of action scenes strung together with the purpose of revealing the many dangers that lurk in mafia land.      With many dates, ranging from the 1970s all the way to January 1982, thrown into the narrative to create the film’s historical context, Shootout at Wadala freely fictionalizes details drawn from the po...

Chillar Party Movie, Chillar Party Movie Review, Chillar Party review, Bollywood update, Latest releases, Bollywood movie releases this week 2011, Movie releases this week, Hindi Movies Chillar party cast, Chillar party crew Salman Khan Productions, Chillar Party released 8th July 2011 Written and directed by the duo of Vikas Bahl and Nitesh Tiwari and bankrolled by UTV Spotboy, Chillar Party got superstar Salman Khan so excited that he came on board as co-producer well after the film had got off the starting blocks. Great judgment – Chillar Party is indeed a film worth backing every which way. It moves from the light-hearted to the thought-provoking and from the rib-tickling to the tear-jerking without losing its equilibrium. As Chillar Party opens, we are introduced one by one to the feisty gang of innocents around whom the plot revolves. It is probably as adorable a gallery of characters as any you will ever encounter in a Bollywood movie. The child actors are outrig...

7 khoon maaf, 7 khoon maaf reviews, 7 khoon maaf movie review, saat khoon maaf review, ksd appalaraju review The Hindustan Times Reports:: A few stories - involving Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan and Annu Kapoor - are absorbing, while at least two could've been better narrated - Naseeruddin Shah and Aleksandr Dyachenko. The unfortunate part is that the uninteresting ones come in the latter half and coupled with its excessive length, the impact generated by a captivating first hour gets diluted in the process. Even the culmination doesn't sweep you off your feet." "This is a tough story to pull off and despite the voluminous talent on display here – from director-co-writer-composer Vishal Bhardwaj to Priyanka to co-stars like Irrfan Khan and Naseeruddin Shah – the film stumbles and fumbles." feels Anupama Chopra (NDTV). Nikhal Kazmi (Times of India) warns the film is not for someone who's just looking for entertainment, rather it has many l...
